ILES

The Institute for Labour and Employment Studies is an institution that was registered as a legal corporate entity in 2016 and was accredited by the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) in 2017. It commenced operations in 2018 and has been operational to date.

The Institute for Labour and Employment Studies’ purpose and mandate is to provide products and services to trade unions, Federations, private and public sector in the areas of:
•      Education and Training;
•      Research and Development;
•      Negotiations and Social Dialogue skills; and
•      Community Outreach and Civic Society Engagement.

FACILITY HIRE

We have air conditioned classrooms with projectors for hire.

RESEARCH

Through research ILES continues to provide labour union movement in Botswana with the necessary research support and tools to develop research projects.

TRAINING

ILES offers long-term and short-term programmes

CONSULTANCY

ILES offers consultancy services.
